The opening of a heating center for the needy (Kyiv)

Congratulations to “Depaul Ukraine Kyiv” on occasion of the opening of a heating center in Kyiv city on 97 Zhylianska street! Having the successful experience in organizing of heating center in 2015 – during that winter no homeless person had his feet amputated due to frostbite – October 28, 2016 we opened a heating point near the railway station. In the evening there was the consecration and blessing of the premises. Father Jan Tchop CM, the new Superior to the Vice-Province of Saints Cyril and Methodius blessed employees and all those present. Thanks to everyone who joined in word or deed to the beginning of this good cause. The Year of Mercy is rich in mercy and miracles!!!
And the needy came almost immediately and now every day since 20:00 they can sleep, eat, get warm, and get the first medical aid and legal assistance (assistance in restoration of documents) here.
