Jesus was truly born in Svaliava

Joyful waiting for the Savior’s birth began for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul with a retreat. While on the retreat, together with Vincentian Father Yezhyk we reflected upon the letter written by Father General Tomaz Mavric on the Eucharist and the way it acts in our daily life.

Elevated and inspired by the Holy Spirit, nine days before Christmas members of the Society created three groups and visited sick and lonely believers as well as families in need, bearing the holy image of the Holy Family seeking a shelter. We witnessed true happiness in hearts and spiritual transformation of all those welcoming us.
