ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CAROL OF NINE LESSONS 2017

The annual nine lessons and carol, which was hosted by the Asian students group this year, commenced at 18:00. The event hosts for the evening were the beautiful Christine Mathew and Neethu Xavier. The program begun with an opening prayer by Fr. Petro, which was followed by an invocation dance by the Asian group. The first lesson was read in Ukrainian after which we listened to a beautiful carol from the Ukrainian choir. The second reading, which was read in French, was also followed by a carol from the French choir after which Fr. Anthony Ekpunobi came up to deliver his delightful Christmas message. After his message, the Ukrainian choir sang a carol, which preceded the third lesson, which was taken by a member of the Holy Ghost Prayer Ministry. The Asian choir sang a carol during which there was a short message from ‘Santa clause’ and then the fourth reading was taken in French. The African English choir sang a carol and so did the Vietnamese choir after which the fifth reading was taken in Vietnamese. There was then a beautiful song ministration by a student form the French group. It was followed by a carol from the Holy Ghost Prayer Ministry. The sixth reading which was read in Ukrainian and was followed by a carol by the African English group and then a dance performance, also by the African English group. After their dance, a member of the French group took the seventh reading and then there was another carol by the Holy Ghost Prayer Ministry group. Our dear Fr. Jan Martincek and the closing prayer by Fr. Jan Vakulchak gave the concluding remarks and message. The program came to a successful end at 20:10
