This is the way the preparation work unfolds in Lviv.

Volunteers from Zaluchchia are not lagging behind as well! They visited the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul on September 2, 2018 in the village of Obertyn. “We say thank you to parish priest Fr. Artur and parishioners for joining this campaign. Parishioners have already been waiting for us, because their parish priest had told them all about the campaign a week before. After the Holy Mass, we had a chance to show our presentation of a branch of the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation “Depaul-Ukraine” in Sniatyn so that people could see whom they would help by purchasing a Vincentian gingerbread. The parish is not big, but very active. Since it was our first time visit, we were positively impressed. We have raised 2,600 UAH there.”
On September 9, 2018 we continued our “Vincentian gingerbread” campaign in the Parish of St. Ignatius Loyola in Kolomyia. Fathers and parishioners gave us a warm welcome and watched our presentation as well. People were fascinated by the presentation. We collected 3,408 UAH there.
Zakarpattia: Turia Remety, Onukivtsi… They bake and pack! Tasty gingerbreads – generous donations!
Odesa’s “Depaul Treats” also contributed to the campaign by baking 1000 gingerbreads, which further made their way throughout Ukraine for the sake of good deeds.
Kyiv has already started the campaign. This campaign has been underway for the whole month already in the Chapel of the Beatitudes. Moreover, three more parishes have agreed to join the campaign by the end of the month. Besides, it is also a great joy for us, when new volunteers arrive to help us 🙂
