VMY Recollections (Perechyn)

The youth and adolescence are…

This is the question, which we together with Fr. Jan CM and members of the VMY tried to find an answer to during the recollections, which took place on November 26-28 in the monastery of the Daughters of Mercy (Parish of St. Augustine, Perechyn town, Transcarpathian region).

This topic is very relevant for us, as the storm of youth is important. In our age, we shouldn’t be afraid during this storm, but we should trust God.

Youth is a gift of God, which you should use 100%. Each time you have to improve, but not to despair. Use your mind. Do not doubt, make the right choice.

Vivid communion with God and making full use of our potential will lead us to happiness – the grace that God gives us.

Our world today offers many ideas, both good and bad, but we must constantly think and choose rationally, as the Scriptures says: “All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be dominated by anything” (1 Cor 6,12)

Recollections ended with a Mass headed by Fr. Vladyslav Kuchak, СМ and Fr. Jan Vakulchak, СМ. New members of the VMM were also admitted. We are infinitely happy for them! May the Immaculate Virgin Mary, whom we have chosen as our Patroness, always protect and preserve us all!
