Outcome of 2019 Vincentian Gingerbread charitable campaign
Praised be Jesus Christ!
The Vincentian Gingerbread charitable campaign was held during September and October, and in some parishes through November as well. Over the course of that campaign, we collected funds to satisfy the needs of lonely unconnected elderly persons residing at Bethany Care Center for aged people. That house is managed by the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul in Lviv. Owing to everyone who had supported the campaign and welcomed us to their parishes or communities, we collected UAH 210,250 altogether.
We are grateful to parish priests and parishioners of Kharkiv, Storozhynets, Perechyn, Kamianytsia, Velykyi Bereznyi, Zabrid, Brody, Lviv, Svaliava, Uzhhorod, Mukacheve, Odesa, Turii Remety, Turii Bystra, Simerky, Onokivtsi, Vorochiv, Poroshkiv, Frideshovo, Cherkasy, Balta, Sniatyn, Obertyn, Kolomyia, Kyiv, as well as to all volunteers. Furthermore, our special thanks go to the Episcopate of Ukraine for supporting the campaign and giving us their blessing for it. We also thank to RADIO MARIA for their participation and backing up the campaign.
