Commemoration of All Faithful Departed (Sniatyn)

November is the month of prayerful remembrance of our departed. We visit their burial places, decorate them and light candles. The Holy Father Francis stresses that on the day of Commemoration of All Faithful Departed the Church honors all those who anticipated us on our way to eternity. The Pontiff urged us to remember in our prayers not only our deceased friends and relatives, but also those remembered by no one.

So let us remember in our quiet prayer those who anticipated us on our way to eternity: our parents… relatives and loved ones…  friends and acquaintances…  priests and tutors… war victims and victims of natural disasters… those who were tragically killed… and people who saw no sense in living… May those autumn days become a chance for us to bow our heads over our life as well…
