WHAT GOD’S PROVIDENCE IS SAYING?

Exactly six years ago a family with two kids drove a car from Poland to Romania. The reason for the trip was the desire of seriously ill father of the family to help in some way orphans with special needs in northern Romania. Their car got broken in Zabolotiv. Local priest Fr. Gregory came to the aid. When father found out the aim of the trip he understood that the car got broken not accidentally. He accompanied this family to orphans with special needs who resided in boarding school in the village Zalluchia. After meeting the children and learning the circumstances of their lives the family also understood that forced stop in Ukraine was not accidental, although it was not in the plans. They decided to help to improve the fate of children in Zalluchya. They didn’t arrive to Romania…
They were looking for an organization that works in Ukraine and could help in cooperation. So we got acquainted. Fr. Gregory sent them to me in Odesa and so I got to know about orphans in Zalluchia. Since that time the cooperation for the benefit of children got started. The result of the cooperation is that Depaul Ukraine started the work in Prykarpattia region in the boarding school.

Today we along with Bogdanka, a manager of Depaul in Zalluchia, still finish the trip of the mentioned family to Romania. We attend projects of www.faracharity.ro organization that also works with orphan children with disabilities and made a big impact on improving the fate of children. We together share experiences and accomplishments to apply them in Ukraine in Zalluchia.

Why? – I’m asking. – What is God’s Providence?

Recently we participated in the opening and dedication of house for orphaned young people with special needs in Kachytsia. During our talks I found out that Bogdana has been dreaming for a long time of such houses which could be a real home to many orphans.

What is the Providence saying?

Fathers of Saint Vincent de Paul served some time before in Kachytsia…. House for people with disabilities is located near the temple which was built by Vincentians…

Greek Catholic priest Ukrainian Fr. Mykola who serves as Kachytsia accomplishes dedication. We pray together the prayer of consecration and dedication of house of mercy in the year of mercy…

I’m under the influence of impressions, which are left with the act of God’s Providence and I can’t stop thinking on the question what exactly the Providence is saying today….
