Vincentian gingerbread in Svaliava…

Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and parish young supported the offer of Vincentian Family to conduct a campaign “Vincentian gingerbread”. Women whose presence and activities in the community are very important baked a considerable amount of sweet biscuits using a special recipe. Young people, in turn, conducted this campaign on the eve of the feast of St. Vincent de Paul on Sunday September 25th after the Divine Liturgy. The faithful of the parish genuinely supported the campaign, all from child to old man got involved. The process was organized in such way: some people baked, some packaged, other bought. There was a young lady who participated in all three phases: first, she helped her grandmother to bake gingerbreads, then she sold them with her friends, and then she spent her money to buy a gift to her beloved mother.
