The Day Center and Shelter for IDPs opened

On Friday, 28th of September the Day Center and Shelter for IDPs opened in Odessa according to the project of the Depaul Group «Welcoming the stranger» and on the occasion of the 400th Anniversary of the Vincentian Charism. In the Day Center people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances can rely on first medical, legal and humanitarian help, and the Shelter is equipped with new beds and can accommodate 20 settlers simultaneously. The plans are to expand the building of the center in order to be able to provide more types of benefits and to accommodate 50 or more people who needs shelter. This project would be impossible to implement without the help of St. Vincent family and in particular Depaul International and Daughters of Mercy. The new Day Center Depaul in Odessa can be found at 50/33 Dalnitskaya Street.
