St. Andrew’s vechornytsi or costume party ahead of Advent

As usual, children from the Daycare Center in Balta have taken part in “St. Andrew’s vechornytsi fun and play” or else “Costume party ahead of Advent” this year as well. You can name it in different ways, but its main point is the same, for in our anticipation of Messiah’s birth we enter the time of silence, reflection, abstinence and hope.

After this swinging party, everything tails away, at least in our hearts, thus enabling us to welcome the coming of Our Lord in speechless joy.
