Spiritual renewal in Hanychi village (Tiachiv rayon)

From November 26 to December 4, 2016 holy missions were held in our parish in Hanychi village of Tyachiv rayon, that is the spiritual renewal of believers – adults, young people, and children. Missions were conducted by the missionary fathers Stanislav and Anatoliy from Kiev, and sisters-nuns Juliana and Anastasia from the mission group of St. Vincent de Paul from Lviv. Our Fr. Mykhailo Oros gave us a program of liturgies and meetings in advance. All of us were looking forward to this event and prayed for God’s blessing for missions. And these were really blessed days for all of us. People came to the early and evening liturgies with joy and desire to hear something new and to enrich themselves spiritually. When sisters-nuns asked us at the first meeting what do we expect from missions, everyone answered that they want to learn more, strengthen their faith, and enrich themselves spiritually. And that is what really happened. Each meeting, each sermon was very instructive. We would like to mention especially the sermon about sin, about forgiveness, about the renewal of marriage, and many others. Everyone could analyze his own life path, cleanse the soul from sins, in other words to make a general confession, think about ways for all of us to live, to make this earthly way with dignity and earn a good place in eternity.
On Saturday, December 3, a missionary cross was set up and consecrated beside our temple; it will always remind us of this event.
We would like to thank generously fathers-missionaries, sisters-nuns for this good lesson, for these gracious days in our lives.
Let God bless them with health and all sorts of loving so that they could teach everyone in many and good years.
