Christmas Eve supper, nativity play, midnight Mass
That was the way we celebrated those Christmas holidays.
First, we assembled for the Christmas Eve supper, which we started with saying a prayer, singing a carol and sharing wafers… and there were the 12 traditional dishes of course.
Before the midnight Mass, we performed a small play for parishioners and guests. In that play, Archangel Gabriel convened all little angels and challenged them with a task to invent the way to light up people’s hearts for welcoming Baby Jesus. So, everyone came up with his or her idea. In the end, together with Bethlehem shepherds we worshiped the Newborn King Emmanuel.
Merry Christmas! We wish everyone happy and wonderful Christmas holidays!
