“Buy. Taste. Save human life”

“Buy. Taste. Save human life” this is the motto of a new social bakery “Goodies of DePaul” in Vizirka village (Odesa oblast) at a rehabilitation center for addicted women “Community in a dialogue”. Buy… Taste… that is clear, but what “Save human life” means? All profits from the bakery are to be spent for daily needs of addicted people of “Community in a dialogue”.

During the consecration of bakery Fr.Vitaliy Novak (responsible for the project) said that it’s not enough to feed a person with the fish, it is necessary to give him/her a fish rod and teach to fish. The new bakery is exactly such a “fish rod”, as those who are in process or have completed the program of rebirth to new life will work there.

Many people were present at this indeed joyful event and each one confirmed with his presence the faith that there is no such person who has fallen so low that could not rise back. Everyone can start a new life but often addicted people do not have the support and confidence of others. Purchase of goodies in the bakery is our support.
