RETREAT FOR THE Kyiv UNION OF CATHOLIC DOCTORS

From the 3rd of July till the 9th of July, Kyiv Union of Catholic doctors had a chance to gather at a retreat in the picturesque place in the middle of Carpathian Mountains near a small town Yablunytsia. This opportunity was given to us by the Center «Caritas-spes». At this time, we have more deeply get acquainted with the Vincentian spirituality, reflected on love and compassion towards a neighbor. Also, every day the priest Anatoliy Tovkan CM gave us interesting lectures, every day we had Mass and adorations. The magnificent nature of the Carpathians helped us in meditation, spiritual consentration and prayers. During the retreat we also visited the grave of the blessed sister Martha Wetska (in Sniatyn), where every person prayed in their intentions.

We hope that all doctors be ispired to work in faith and love of neighbor. Since, “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead” (Jas. 2:26). We wait for new and interesting retreats!
