Greetings of Fr. Leonid Kuklyshyn CM on the occasion of the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul (2022)

My God and Savior, change me into You. Let my speech become the speech of Jesus. Let my efforts glorify You. I am asking You, destroy everything in me that You do not like. Grant me living in You and for You, so that I could say with St. Paul: “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” (St. Vincent de Paul)

The feast of our founder Saint Vincent annually reminds us of his life, ministry and charism. Every year we glorify God again and again and we thank Him for this great saint. This year has brought a lot of grief to our Country, and we celebrate the feast of our Founder in conditions of war. The days of war did not and will not break Ukraine, our Vincentian Spirit and Charism. In these difficult times, I sincerely congratulate everyone on the feast of Saint Vincent de Paul.

Thank you all for your spiritual and financial support during this time of war. Thank you for your commitment to support us and fight for Freedom and Values that never fade away. Being united in service, we testify that God exists.

At these times I wish everyone to bring the Kingdom of God through our service closer to all those whom we serve: the kingdom of love, respect, mutual understanding, endurance, hope, joy and trust in God’s Providence. Let our service bring joy and desire for holiness and faithfulness to God and to all those in need.

May the good God, through the intercession of Saint Vincent, bless all your good intentions and reward you and all your relatives with his peace, love and joy. May the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Vincent and all our saints and blessed accompany you, grant you many graces, and may they save and protect you every day.

Fr. Leonid Kuklyshyn СМ. Visitor of the Vice-Province of SS. Cyril and Methodius
