Last week, 4/10/2018, a member of the board of trustees of Depaul International, Dame Louise Casey participated in BBC Radio 4 Appeal. The purpose of this appeal is to tell BBC audience about how the conflict in eastern Ukraine and the annexation of the Crimea led to a crisis of homelessness. She also told what exactly Depaul does in order to overcome this crisis.

Radio 4 Appeal is a weekly 3-minute program, the purpose of which is to tell about a specific charitable organization and its influence, and also calls on the public to support its activities.

Dame Louise Casey herself is one of Britain’s eminent activists in the field of social protection and the fighter against homelessness. In 2013, she was recognized as one of the hundred most influential women in the UK according to BBC Radio 4.

The audio record will be available on BBC Radio 4 on Sunday, October 21 at 7:54 and at 21:25 London time, as well as on October 25, on Thursday, at 15:25 London time.
